Tips and Guide for Applying Paint to Face:
Test makeup beforehand to see if you have any allergies or reactions to it.
Men should have a clean shaven face so the paint will go on smoothly and look good.
Cover entire face and only the tip of nose with white makeup paint you get from the Halloween costume aisle in the store. Leave medium to large circles around your eyes for black makeup paint later. Don't overdo it with the face color, just put on a light layer. Make sure you paint a little below the neck as well.
Now you need to get an old sock and baby powder. Baby powder should be sifted onto the sock, rubbed together, and then lightly patted all over the white skeleton face. This is a trick that keeps the paint from smearing.
Now, using the black color makeup paint or a stick, darken your eyes and nose.
To make the skeleton mouth, draw vertical lines from one corner of your lip to the other end. Now draw a single horizontal line across the tops of those bars and a single line across the bottoms of the bars. The white left between the black lines will look just like teeth when your done. From this point, you can finish drawing a mouth shape to your liking.
Using the black makeup stick, you can now draw lines through your eye(s) and / or chin, like lighting bolt shapes, if you want to have a "cracked skull" look.
There are a ton of videos online that you can watch and get ideas from if you need to.
Complete the look by dressing up as a skeleton body, wear ragged torn clothes to look like a zombie, or be Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas. Use a little creativity and you can paint on one scarey skeleton face for Halloween!
