Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing at The Summit - Snoqualmie, Washington

Winter sports are very popular in Washington state. If you love snow skiing, snowboarding or tubing, the Summit at Snoqualmie is the place to be. The Summit consists of four unique base areas (referred to as "parks"), making the Summit at Snoqualmie ideal for everyone. The parks at the Summit are open 7 days and 6 nights a week until 10 pm.

Summit East

Summit East offers two chairlifts to over150 acres of skiing. Summit East includes the best tree skiing, intermediate and advanced runs, steep inclines as well as amazing views of the Gold Creek Valley.

Summit West

Summit West offers a great terrain for learning how to ski as well as snowboard and is ideal for family fun. Discover how much fun you can have at Summit West after dark. Wednesday nights through Friday, nights be the first to descend the freshly groomed terrain, which begins at 4 pm.

Summit Central is suitable for every ability level. They offer beginner runs, a top to bottom terrain park and Washington's only super pipe.

Alpental

Alpental offers the most challenging terrain in North America. If you are feeling fearless and love the rush of adrenaline, then Alpenthal is sure to accommodate!

After dark the Summit comes to life with six hundred acres of lighted terrain. If you have never been skiing or snowboarding after dark, you really must give it a try. The Summit is very magical after the sun goes down and far less crowded too.

Ski and snowboarding lessons are available for a fee.

The Summit Tubing Center is a great winter adventure for the whole family. A tow is available to take you and the tube back to the top everytime, so you can experience two full hours of fun over and over again! The tubing center is located across from Summit Central.

The tubing area is only open on weekends and are purchased in two hour sessions.

Summit Tubing Center

The Summit Nordic Center offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing for all ages and skill levels. Enjoy the miles of alpine meadows, old growth forests and frozen streams and lakes. The Nordic Center usually opens in the middle of December and closes in late April. They are only open on the weekends and the hours of operation are 9am - 3:30pm.
