Skiing at Sugarbrush

Sugarbrush ski resort is another one of those classic Vermont resorts-- situated right at the Northern tip of the Green Mountain National Forest. This means as you ski or snowboard down the slopes, you'll have the beautiful scenery of the Green Mountains surrounding you. Sounds like a nice way to spend a weekend, doesn't it?

Sugarbrush is a particularly great destination because it is one of those all-inclusive sorts of ski and snowboard resorts. This means that you can book a place at the resort itself for convenience. Sugarbrush offers some great lodging options for you and your family, including many inside the park (and some outside as well). These lodging options come with some great packages for families looking to spend a few nights at the resort. If you purchase lift tickets with your nights stay, you will receive a great discount through the resort.

Sugarbrush ski resort is really one of the most family-friendly ski and snowboard resorts around. If you've got kids and really want to get out onto the slopes this winter for some great exercise and fun, Sugarbrush will be a great option for you. If your kids are not into skiing or snowboarding, Sugarbrush has an onsite day care called the Sugarbrush Day School, where your kids can enjoy fun activities inside. If your kids do want to learn, or perhaps already have tried skiing or snowboarding a few times, Sugarbrush has a lot of options for them too. There are plenty of children's programs designed to help your kids learn to ski or snowboard at all levels and age groups.

Sugarbrush resort has four separate mountain peeks, all with great runs serviced by chair lifts. These include Lincoln Peak, Castlerock Peak, North Lynx Peak, and Mt. Ellen. With these choices, you will definitely find a peak that suits your need. Check out the Web site for a detailed look at the different runs, their difficulty levels, and also some identifying features. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, there are definitely runs for you, and a fleece jacket that will keep you toasty on the slopes.
