First type - Dry Skin Type
The cause of dry skin is due to the sebaceous gland as they are less active therefore in less production of sebum that does not provide enough moisture to the skin leaving the skin dry and flakes that appear at the surface of the skin. This condition becomes worse during cold weather conditions. The reddish looks and wrinkles are also accompanied with this skin type.
You may use soft cream cleanser and leave it for sometime and wipe out with cotton or damp cloth. Try to clean face areas (hydrate regularly) and add a moisturizer to give some life to your dry skin.
Second type - Oily Skin Type
The over secretion of sebaceous glands that makes the skin look greasy and oily (with sebum over production). This the worst condition where the dirt and dust gets settled on the skin surface causing a combination of skin problems, such as acne, black heads white heads, pores, pimples and boils. Oily skin does not necessarily show sign of aging as it remains younger.
Regular cleansing is needed, can be done with a gentle foam facial wash. Cleaning the skin with astringent lotion with cotton will prove good, and also add moisturizer a very light one.
Third Type - Normal Skin Type
Defined as a normal skin, it is balanced with appropriate amount of oily and dry aspects. Invisible pores and looks healthy.
A little care should also be taken to make it healthier and free from any problems. So a gentle foam wash can be added. A little moisturizer can also be good for this skin type.
Fourth type - Sensitive Skin Type
According to the condition the sensitive skin type can be oily, dry or normal, but reacts adversely for any changes. Changes in climate conditions, cosmetic usage, lotions and creams that could bring adverse skin problems and some of them are prone to allergic food types.
Alcohol, colors, artificial odors are some of the ingredients in the products so avoiding them will prove good for sensitive skin. A hypo allergic lotion can be used and light skin care products are recommended.
Fifth Type - Combination Skin Type
The combination forms are mostly a mix up of dry and oily aspects, so the care also differs accordingly. The forehead is greasy and the nose and cheeks may be dry. The T-zone area which covers forehead, nose and chin are characterized for such a combination skin type.
The areas of dryness and oiliness have to be focused and care should be taken. Moisturizer applied at the dry areas and using appropriate cleanser would do fine for oily areas.
