Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser: a Review

Andrea Rowe
The newest skin care product I have tried in an attempt to treat my chronic skin condition associated with Cowden Syndrome is L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser. I purchased this product with it more in the mind as a skin cleanser than as something that would minimize the redness of the bumps caused by the Cowden Syndrome. Actually, since our financial situation is tight right now I was hoping to be able to buy a facial cleanser that would also remove eye makeup. On the bottle it says, "effectively and gently removes eye makeup." I had high hopes.

I wear a lot of eye makeup so perhaps the reason it did not help much was because of the amount I wear. L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser is a wonderful product in cleaning the skin. I followed up the use of it with a Noxzema facial cleansing pad and there was very little if any dirt on the pad. Quite a lot of eye makeup was left but I believe this is because 1) I wear a lot of eye makeup and 2) the eye makeup I wear is water resistant.

L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser claims to enhance skin radiance and make your skin smoother. In my case, these claims were true. I purchased the cleanser at Wal-Mart as this is the main store in our very small town. The cost was between $6-7. I enjoy this cleanser because it does not leave my skin feeling oily. I have combination skin and this is rare to find. The price was wonderful and it was not even on clearance.

Salicylic acid is contained in L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser so it did help minimize some of the bumps on my face. I will definitely add this product to my list of favorite cleansers for my skin and recommend it to anyone reading the article. L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Cleanser is appropriate for all skin types and is a skin care product a woman of any age can buy without feeling embarrassed.
