Recently I wanted to find a new cleanser for my oily skin, especially since I had just run out of my regular cleanser. I decided to hop online and do a little browsing, namely at my favorite website, BlissWorld.com. Bliss is known for carrying its own line of products, as well as many high-end and renowned other products. I decided to search through their specialty items for oily skin when I came across a cleanser I've never heard of before. According to the website, Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser is specially formulated for acne-prone skin. It has salicylic acid and other exfoliating properties that help de-clog pores. It seemed like a great cleanser over all and it was exactly what I was looking for. I decided to purchase Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser for $30 and give it a try.
When I received my item in the mail from BlissWorld.com, I knew I had to try it out right then and there. I went to the washroom and pulled my hair back. I wet my face with warm water and squeezed some of the Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser out of the bottle and rubbed it over my face. The product itself is very cream-like and it smells great! Very crisp and clean! I let it sit on my face for a few moments before washing it off. Once I rinsed my face with warm water, I dried it off with a washcloth. My face felt instantly clean and refreshed. As for the acne-fighting powers of the cleanser, I definitely saw results after two weeks. My skin was clearing up especially well. I saw my breakouts clear up, namely around my chin and forehead.
Over all, I would rate the Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser a 5/5. It's a great cleanser that certainly delivers what it promises. It helped clear up my skin and also helped keep oil-production down. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with oily or acne-prone skin. While $30 is a little steep, the Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser is well worth the price!
