Skin Smoothing Egg White Face Mask
Learn How to Make a Great Skin Softening Face Mask at Home Using Every Day Ingredients!
Many people remove the yolk from the egg before eating. This is because the yolks of eggs have a high fat and cholesterol content, bringing down the overall healthiness of the egg itself. This works in a similar way when it comes to your skin. The yolk of an egg can be used to help skin that's overly dry, but can actually worsen or cause an oil problem. Removing the egg yolks brings out the great qualities the egg has for your skin, without the risk of leaving any oily residue.
To make a skin softening egg white face mask, you will need 1 large eggs, 2 heaping spoonfuls of plain yogurt (I favor Brown Cow Farm's organic plain yogurt), and a dash of sugar. Remove the yolk from the egg, and put the egg white in a small glass bowl. Beat it slightly before adding the yogurt, and beat the yogurt in instead of just mixing it. Now add a dash or two of sugar, and beat just a bit more with a fork. Now you should have a sort of drippy consistency, but don't worry, it will stay on your face just fine if you mixed well! This will make enough for one person.
Apply onto your skin covering problem areas first. This face mask is meant to tighten your skin and make it look younger, while also helping to remove dead and loose skin cells, so apply to areas of your skin that sag first. Under your eyes, right below your nose, and problem areas of the forehead are a good idea on where to start. Massage gently in small circular motions with two fingers on each side, ensuring that you get as much as your face as possible.
When you rinse, use warm water. Rinse well and witness immediate results! Your skin will look and feel young and refreshed, and your face will be soft and smooth to the touch. This mask is natural, and is very easy and cheap to make!
