Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit Review

If your son is as obsessed with dinosaurs as mine is, he will surely enjoy the Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit. This particular toy allows kids to learn about dinosaurs and their environment with a fun activity that will keep them occupied for hours and for the days to come.

The Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit is really interesting because your kids can play paleontologist, like those guys in Jurassic Park, complete with all the tools one needs in unearthing real dino bones. The Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit comes with the molds, casting materials, paint, paint brushes, glue, magnets and literature on these ancient creatures. My seven year old son as well as my thirteen year old daughter really enjoyed putting together the dinosaur bones, so this really is a toy that will satisfy kids of various ages. The manufacturer recommends it though for kids aged six to fifteen.

The entire skeleton may take days to a week to complete, depending on how much time your kids will spend on it each day. But the thrill of completing it and having an exciting project to look forward to everyday is really great. The fun does not stop when the skeleton is completed. The Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit also comes with blow pens so that your kids can custom-paint their skeleton. The Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit even comes with glue and magnets to create a beautiful display.

The Skullduggery Cast & Paint: Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Casting Kit is a great way to get kids started on their interest in dinosaurs or to quench their existing curiosity or fascination with them. The eleven page instruction book is just wonderful. It contains all the answers to the questions that they would otherwise be asking you about skeletons, bones, and the structure of these animals. I do not know much about dinosaurs so I am glad they have a reliable reference for their questions.

I am really lucky that my thirteen year old was there to help my son out with casting the pieces and assembling the whole skeleton together. She also helped with perfecting the paint job. Careful though, as dropping the "fossils" will create cracks in them--so thank god for super glue! But otherwise, if you are very careful and delicate, as real paleontologists are, in handling this toy, you will not have any problems.
