Blue Skies Sky Diving Adventures Inc. Call (360)674-7106 or 1-866-522-JUMP (naturally.)
This is the company where I did my first skydive jump, and it was so much fun. They are located across the Puget Sound from Seattle in Bremerton, next to the Bremerton National Airport. (If you are coming from Seattle, just take the Bremerton ferry across the water.) This great location means that you will have one of the most amazing views possible as you take your plunge: Puget Sound, Seattle, Mount Rainer, The Cascades, and the Olympic Mountains range are all visible, although I think you'll focus more on the ground than anything else during your jump. They are a member of the United States Parachute Association, and safety is their top priority. Programs are available for the 1st time novice, to advanced freefalling. If you get hooked, you can become a member and enjoy discounted jumps.
Skydive Snohomish, Snohomish, WA Call (360)568-7703
Skydive Snohomish takes pride in offering the fun and freedom of skydiving with the ultimate safety precautions. They have a perfect safety record, which will relieve those with understandably anxious nerves. They look at skydiving as a sport, and strive to make your first jump as enjoyable as possible, so you will return to try more advanced dives. Their staff is completely professional, understanding, and thorough when it comes to training, gear, and support. You have the option of taking a $50 "discovery flight," where you can see the view from a plane, before you decide to see it mid air, with a parachute. You can also become a licensed jumper through this organization, if that interests you. Snohomish is beautiful country as well, so this is another aerial view that will take your breath away, if the jump hasn't already. Depending on the season, the company may only work on weekends, or may be closed all together, so you will need to call. They are always closed on major holidays.
Soaring Sports Call (800)226-1116
This company is great for conquering your fears in order to make your first dive a fantastic one. They prioritize safety, learning, and fun, and believe that there is no equivalent to the exhilaration of freefall. With that kind of attitude, it's hard not to be affected by the contagious enthusiasm- which is exactly what you'll need to jump out of that plane. You'll have all the state of the art equipment with you, as well as top diving professionals. You can also get your diving certification through this program. Call the company in order to get more information on the best jumping locations they offer for your needs. Prices vary throughout the different seasons.

Post a CommentSoaring sports is not an actual skydiving operation. DON'T USE THEM! They are a middle-man posing as a skydiving center that sells your business to skydiving centers and not necessarily one that you would select. Call the skydiving center you would like to skydive with and talk to them directly. This way you will get a feel for the business, get your questions answered and you will be given complete information so you can avoid the hassles of not knowing that businesses policies and procedures on the daay of your jump. Talk to the source it's worth the call.
Blue Skies Skydiving unfortunately is no longer in operation as of Oct. 2007.
