Franco Medrano revealed he fired his latest CMO (Chief of Marketing Department) Nick Ebbage, who followed in Asher Da Silva's steps and failed to show up in SL for too long of a time, even after the SL Translation Services (SLTS) CEO payed him upfront to encourage Ebbage. Interviewed by SLR, Franco Medrano revealed a 40,000L$ profit in this company's only month of existence and shows optimism as he expects to raise incomes even more in the future.

Alessandra Narayan (AN) - Have you found a new CMO yet?

Franco Medrano (FM) - Not yet.

AN - How does this affect your business? Not having a CMO...

FM - A lot because I need people to help me in this business. The main point is that I am looking for people I can trust because I want them to be part of SLTS, not just employees. I expect SLTS to be as a family. That's why I also paid in advance Mr. Ebbage and others.

AN - And how's the translations business going in general?

FM - We are a starting-up company, but the last year, in a month, we were able to translate words for a total of about 40,000 L$.

AN - That part wasn't so clear. Last year in one month?

FM - I actively run the company for a month and we earned 40,000L$, than I needed to stop because my RL job requires a lot of dedication. That's why I need people to help me.

AN - And with the right CMO you expect to raise income, yes?

FM - I think so. Now we have a director for human resources and translations already. This way I can keep focused only on some aspects of the business, while others work on other elements and working like this we should become much more competitive in the market.
