Not all Americans are waking up tired. There are still a percentage of Americans that are waking up early and have plenty of energy. What can you do to change how you feel in the mornings? What is the real issue?
Changing what you are eating will make an impact on how you feel in the morning. Changing what you are eating will have a huge impact on your body all day long. Green vegetables are beneficial to your body. Broccoli, asparagus, spinach and other green vegetables are high in magnesium. In case you are not eating enough of these foods try adding a green vegetable powder drink to your diet before you go to bed. Many companies sell various versions of this product and they are available at health food stores and on line.
Adding exercise to your week also is known to put a pep in your step. Move it or lose it. Get some action going and stimulate your blood to pump through your body bring revitalization and oxygen to cells that have been weakly hanging on to existence. Aerobics, jogging, walking, rebounding...there are many ways to get your body active. One of my personal favorites is the rebounder, which is a mini trampoline. This is actually a very fun way to get the blood pumping and the oxygen surging through a tired, drained body.
Adding rest and sleep can also help you to wake up with more energy. Rest could include reading, watching a movie, making a good meal and eating it with someone you love, working on a hobby, sewing, or painting. There are many options for rest. Sleep should be done in your bed. Go to bed. Don't fall asleep with your head twisted to the side on the couch. If you have trouble falling asleep try drinking a tea before bed and thinking about positives thoughts. Do not go to bed angry or upset. Your body builds up much needed serotonin while you sleep. If you do not get enough sleep or if you go to bed angry or tense you may not be building up enough serotonin and your levels may be low. This could effect how you feel when you wake up. Serotonin is the happy chemical in your brain. Your brain heals while you sleep at night so think happy thoughts and go to bed at a reasonable time.
Being on the job sleepy is not pleasant for anyone. Waking up refreshed and being ready to work is possible. Change a few habits and lifestyle choices and suddenly join those that wake up energized. The added bonus will be your supervisor's pleasure in your morning work performance.
