Sliced Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms Review

This Cheese was Pretty Good and Really Inexpensive

The other day I decided to get some sliced cheese. There was something about the idea of just having a few slices of cheese that I thought might be handy while we were having veggie burgers. I looked over the selection of sliced cheese and didn't see any that were organic. I was disappointed by this but still determined to get something. I finally decided to try out Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms. I thought that the taste of marbled jack cheese was good and I thought that I would enjoy it, here is what I thought about it.

The cheese was not too expensive. It was actually the cheapest option that there was so I didn't feel too bad about trying it. For twelve slices of Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms it cost me only two dollars and twenty-eight cents. I really couldn't complain about nineteen cents for a slice of cheese. I was curious to see what those nineteen cents was going to offer in the way of nutrition. According to the nutrition facts in each slice of this cheese there was eighty calories with sixty calories from fat. I had no idea that cheese was so high in fat. There was twenty milligrams of cholesterol listed and one hundred and thirty-five milligrams of sodium listed for a slice of this marbled jack cheese. Lastly there was five grams listed for protein per slice of cheese and the minerals and vitamins section listed vitamin A with five percent and fifteen percent for calcium. After looking over the nutrition facts I looked over the ingredients.

The ingredients of the Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms are pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes and annatto color. While looking over the package I thought that the nutrition facts and the ingredients looked pretty good. I also liked that the company said that they guaranteed that their cows are not treated with any artificial hormones. This was one of the reasons that I chose this particular cheese. There were several different ways that I used these slices of cheese. First I used a couple slices of the cheese on some veggie burgers. I thought that they made a nice addition and tasted good. Next I used a couple slices of the cheese to make some quesadillasand lastly I used four slices one four grilled cheese sandwiches and four slices melted over a bean and onion salad. I thought that the Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms definitely added a nice flavor to the various dishes that I used it on.

Overall I was glad that I got the Marbled Jack Cheese from Joseph Farms. I can't say that it is the best cheese that I have tasted or anything but I definitely enjoyed it. I would recommend for anyone to try it out. Since it is so inexpensive you really aren't risking a lot if you don't care for it all that much. I think that I may get it again in the future however I would really prefer to try and find some organic cheese that I can afford. However in the event that I am really craving some cheese and this is what I can afford then I think that I will be inclined to buy it again.
