Slip + Fall

William Meeks
Car ride home

Never gonna be alone

They're all smiles and hugs

painted concerned, and smiling smug

That old river

can't deliver

the happiness I had

A new mutation

old sensations

celebrate the sad

Slip and fall

When I wake up in the city

Cedar Lane is always on my mind

Slip and fall

and although it's very pretty

keeps me searching for something

I can't find

Slip and Fall

Parking garage

Don't hesitate 'cause

you're in charge

Awake in an old dream

You're not perfect,

I'm not clean

Love and passion

She's so old fashion

Which I've heard a kid will cause

She's one night only

I'm still lonely,

yearning for what's lost

Slip and fall

When I wake up in the city

Cedar Lane is always on my mind

Slip and fall

and although it's very pretty

keeps me searching for something

I can't find

Slip and Fall

Back home I'm not so tall

Another chance to stall

If you put out you're hand I'll

Slip and fall

That old river

can't deliver

the memories we had

Slip and fall

When I wake up in the city

Cedar Lane is always on my mind

Slip and fall

and although it's very pretty

keeps me searching for something

I can't find

Slip and Fall
