Slow and Easy

We all have been guessing for weeks what was the reason for appointing a radical evangelistic fund raiser to give the invocation at the inauguration. It must be a big secret because the choice is not transparent. Rick Warrens ideas do not represent most beliefs, only those of radical groups of bible thumpers and holy rollers. But the choice for him to give the invocation was a wise one because even if it angers most gays it puts millions of his wild eyed followers at ease.
President elect Obama is incorrectly seen by some religious groups as being secular minded even if he attended church for many years. They imagine that he will ram some of his secular ideas into them with a furious force. But that is not true, his appointees are all fair minded and highly intelligent. The only way to put these radical groups at ease is to use a symbolical lubricant. Rick Warren will serve as that lubricant.

I love the picture of vaseline that accompanies the article! Besides that, the words about homosexuality in the Bible were so very important that God decided NOT to include them in the ten commandments He handed to Moses. Doesn't that make you wonder? I don't think that the term Gay Marriage should used. I think it should be a civil union, not a marriage. Having said that, let's leave God's work in the hands of God. Judge not lest ye be judged.
