Smackdown's 600th Episode will go down in the history books as one of the most dramatic episodes in wrestling history. The WWE Universe witnessed the World Heavyweight Championship change hand twice, two Superstars being fired, one Superstar being hired, and the return of Smackdown's General Manager Theodore Long.

The night started off with a huge 12-man tag match that featured John Cena, Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and Edge defeating CM Punk, Sheamus, Kane, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre. After Edge picked up the victory for his team. His celebration was cut short by Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Guerrero striped Edge of the World Heavyweight Championship for using his signature move the 'SPEAR' last week against Dolph Ziggler. Guerrero had banned the use of the 'SPEAR' which lead to Dolph Ziggler being crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion. Guerrero made sure that the WWE Universe would witness his coronation later in the evening. Guerrero was not finished with Edge yet. To make sure he never become World Heavyweight Champion again she 'FIRED' him.

The show went on with Maryse and Layla defeating Eve and Beth Phoenix. Followed by The Miz defeating Kofi Kingston. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov also picked up a victory over Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

It was time for the WWE Universe to witness the World Heavyweight Championship Coronation of Dolph Ziggler. Guerrero presented her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler with the World Heavyweight Championship. Ziggler's celebration was short lived. As Smackdown's General Manager Theodore Long made his return. Long had been out of action since January when he was mysteriously attacked by someone. After pressuring Guerrero about this incident she revealed that it was Ziggler who attacked him. Long was not to pleased to hear this which is why he rehired Edge and made Ziggler defend his World Heavyweight Championship.

It did not take long for Edge to defeat Ziggler and become the new World Heavyweight Champion. After the match Long delivered some bad news to Ziggler by firing him. Now that Ziggler has been fired who will take his place in the Elimination Chamber?
