If you need someone to handle graphic design, stuff envelopes, computer research, billing, bookkeeping, or whatever the service might be you will be able to find college students more willing than to help you out with your project. College students are always in need of extra money for books, tuition and food and other living expenses.
To get started the first thing you do is contact a college in the area and speak to teacher or professor in the area in which you need something done. For example if you need work graphic art done you can contact a professor in the visual aids department or graphic arts and let them know what you are looking for they will post the information on their bulletin boards and in many cases they will send out an email to students that have email accounts in the graphic design department. They all get a description of your project. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the responses to come in. The advertisement will have your contact information.
Some students are looking for internships while others are looking for part time income. You just never know you may be able to hire someone full time as a result of utilizing their services. This gives you an opportunity to experience their work ethic first hand.
You can negotiate terms of payment with the student. This works out for the student because they may want to use you as a professional reference when they start looking for a job if they decide not to join your company.
Students sometimes can have access to the latest state of the art equipment which allows them to handle a number of tasks and duties. If you use better quality equipment then the quality of the work done will be professional and of a higher quality. Students can be motivated by money therefore they are more likely to handle your tasks efficiently and effectively without delays.
