Small Gifts Make a Difference

A Year of Poems: Day Three Hundred and Fifty-Nine

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
The cookies you baked
The scarf that you knitted
The Christmas ornament you made
You are a blessing and so committed!

The nicest gifts
Are ones from the heart
The ones made with love
Not bought at K-Mart!

I'm planning my list
Already for next year
Making hand-made gifts
That are truly sincere!

Wish more people would remember that the gift comes from the heart and not a mart!

I LOVE homemade gifts. They're priceless, and they truly come from the heart. I need to start mine now for next year. I've learned to knit on a loom, and the scarves and hats turn out great.

Cute :) I'm going to start early making next year's Christmas gifts - hopefully I will be dedicated enough to keep it up throughout the year.
