Children always say amazing things. I am 33 and continue to hear about how I pronounced the word as by saying ass. I could not figure out how there was an "s" in the world rather than a "z"When my children were younger, I had a habit of opening the refrigerator and eating between meals. One day when my children busted me doing this, I had to share. I told them their love of sweets makes them like their mom, Andrea. About a week later Hannah decided to do the same'"eat food behind my back. Owen told me, Mom, "Hannah is being an Andra (how he pronounces my name)." I had to clarify what an Andra is and realized I may not have set the best example for my children.My father allowed Hannah to drink buttermilk. Two weeks later I asked if she wanted buttermilk. She looked at me and said, "no!" I said, "I don't blame you for that because only old people drink buttermilk." The next thing she said was, "well mommy, why don't you drink it because "you is old." Owen practically idolizes his father because they play games together. The current game is Super Mario Brothers. One day I wanted to play and Owen said "no because you need skills like us."Until Owen was 2 ½ years old, he pronounced his name as Ownin. It was a joke in my family that he didn't want to owe anyone but would rather own.

I agree....great piece....loved it! Thanks, Andrea!
So precious
Very cute.
I knew one boy who could not say TR. He substituted F. Like many young kids, he got fascinated by motor vehicles, especially large ones, and would announce it when he saw one. Loudly. In public.
TR = F
So, truck ....
Very cute, had a niece who said a funny word and my husband still teases her about it to this day and she is 35.
