SmartSteps Jump & Go by Evenflo

When my baby was old enough to use an exercise jumper, I bought the SmartSteps Jump & Go Baby Exerciser by Evenflo. I had heard that babies love to jump. While it took a while for her to warm up to the exerciser, jumping has become her favorite pasttime and her exerciser is her favorite possession.

I had read that doorway jumpers sometimes fail to hold. I am happy to report that the Jump & Go Exerciser has a firm grip and does not slip. I would advise before using this product to read the instructions carefully, and make sure the doorway meets the specifications of the product. The doorway must meet the requirements that are clearly outlined in the instructions. Before putting your child into a jumper, test to make sure it will hold.

When I first bought the Jump & Go, my baby was not interested in it. Although she was age appropriate for it, it still was a little too big for her. So, in the closet it went for a month. I decided once again to try the exerciser. This time, however, she loved it.

It didn't take long until she was jumping and twirling around in the Jump & Go. The Jump & Go is a godsend in that it will keep her entertained for quite a while. A musical toy sits on a tray in front of her that lights up and plays a song when she either jumps or plays with the removable learning pod.

The removable learning pod has buttons to mash, a cylinder to spin as well as shapes to push. It also plays 8 different songs and has many phrases. The learning pod can also be used on other SmartSteps products like the swing and exersaucer. The learning pod packs a lot of different stimuli into one toy. Even when my baby didn't care for the exerciser, she still was enamored with the learning pod.

It's easy to adjust the height of the Jump & Go. The child's toes should just barely touch the floor while he/she is sitting in the seat. My child definitely gets a "workout" from her Jump & Go. The music definitely motivates her to keep going even when she is getting worn down. She will still jump when a song is playing.

SmartSteps Jump & Go Exerciser is a great way for baby to use and strengthen her muscles. It's also very fun and can keep baby occupied.
