Smelly Hobo

Why was dad stopping the car? For that dumb hobo with a beard? Mom is not going to like this at all.

It was bad enough, Joshua thought to himself, that mom made him spend the day with his dad. His dad was a loser. He did not have a college education like mom got, but swung a hammer all day. Big deal. Anyone can swing a hammer, even all day in the hot Arizona desert sun like dad.

But just wait until mom found out dad stopped for a hobo, and were gonna be late for the movie. Joshua knew they were gonna be late. He just knew it.

When's the hobo gonna ask for money?They always do that. That's what mom said, anyway. This hobo not only smells with his big smelly beard, but probably will rob us for money if we don't give him any.

Finally thet reach the bus station. The hobo gets out and turns to Joshua.

"You're lucky to have such a great dad."

Yeah, right. If dad were so great he never would have picked up a smelly hobo like you in the middle of the hot Arizona desert sun. At least you didn't ask for money.
