Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst Review and Budweiser and Clamato Chelada Review
What Do the Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst and Budweiser and Clamato Chelada Have in Common?
Initial reaction - Upon opening the bottle, it smells very sweet; not just a raspberry smell, but raspberry plus sweet, if that's possible.
After first taste - I don't know what I expected, but it doesn't taste like anything expected. Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst is sweet to begin with and it seems to get sweeter as you take more sips. Too sweet. It doesn't taste like beer. It doesn't taste like wine. It doesn't taste like mead. And, I'm afraid to check how much sugar is in this concoction. It tastes like juice - only sweeter.
I correlated Wild Blue Premium Blueberry Lager to blueberry pie in this review. That blueberry beer was very pungent in its' blueberry taste. On the other hand, Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst is very pungent in its' sweet taste - as opposed to its' raspberry taste. In this regard, Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst tastes sweeter than the blueberry beer I equated with blueberry pie.
I must admit, once I was braced for the utterly sweet concoction that is Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Blast, it was a more pleasurable drinking experience. However, one should be prepared for sweetness before drinking Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst.
Budweiser and Clamato Chelada Review
Initial Reaction - The beer and tomato combination was a strange, unique mixture. I've drunk a bloody mary a couple times before and enjoyed them, although I must be in the mood for them. The Bud and Clamato Chelada is thick and must be enjoyed slowly. The Anheuser Busch Chelada website categorizes the beverage as a "savory beer," which sounds accurate.
After first taste - The Budweiser and Clamato is quite literally a bloody mary and beer. The 5 percent alcohol by volume (abv) beverage consists of Budweiser, clamato, salt and lime. Overall, I equated drinking the Budweiser and Clamato Chelada to a weird drinking experience. It was enjoyable. But, one 24 ounce can is about the most I can handle at once. (They are available in "Single serve, 24-ounce cans and 16-ounce four packs," according to the Anheuser Busch Chelada website.)
The Bud Light and Clamato Chelada boasts a 4.2% abv content. I tried both the Bud and Bud Light versions of the clamato beverage and they are comparable to each other just as Bud and Bud Light are comparable to each other. They have both been available within the United States, nationwide, since January 2008.
Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst and Budweiser and Clamato Chelada Similarities
The Smirnoff Ice Raspberry Burst and Budweiser and Clamato Chelada are two alcoholic beverages you must be prepared for before consuming. Both drinks offer desirable qualities, but the mood must strike right. They both provide unique tastes, which would be preferentially tasted slowly. It would be unlikely to enjoy both of these beverages in one sitting, but if you're not in the mood for one beverage, you just might be in the mood for the other.

Post a CommentI dunno, anything called Clamato does not sounds appealing! thanks for trying it out for us!
I was originally hesitent about the Bud Clamato, until someone recommended it to me.
I'm more of a liquor guy myself :-) I've always thought the Bud Clamatos looked disgusting so I've never tried them. Just not into flavored beers, I suppose.
they sound a little much for me..but good job. Guiness and Smithwicks for me!!
Interesting review and I love Bloody Mary's but despise beer.
This is a great review. I had to stop drinking many years ago, but the headline just looked so appetizing. Good review LIVIN. :-)
