SNAP Offers Free Computer Lab Use for Fort Greene Residents

Fort Greene job hunters may be unaware of the Fort Greene Strategic Neighborhood Action Partnership's (SNAP) free computer lab on Myrtle Avenue. The Free Public Access Computer Center has 12 computers available on a first come, first served basis.

Each computer is equipped with Internet access, word processing software and games. According to SNAP, printing, faxing and notary services are available for a small fee. Those seeking employment can benefit from the Entrepreneur's Corner and learn computer basics.

SNAP is able to provide this service to Fort Greene low and moderate income residents with the help of volunteers, members, The HOPE Program, Hunter School of Social work and NYC College of Technology.

SNAP is located at 324 Myrtle Avenue between Cumberland Street and Carlton Avenue.
