I prefer the lemon flavored Snapple iced tea. The lemon taste is very refreshing. Snapple iced tea comes in a variety of flavors. They have lemon, peach, apple, blackberry, blueberry, cranberry, fruit punch, grape, green apple, kiwi, lime, mandarin, mango, melon, mixed berry, nectarine, orange, original, pear, plum, raspberry, strawberry, tangerine, and many more. I haven't tried all of the other flavors, they seem too fruity to me. They also make a variety of diet Snapple flavors as well.
Snapple prides itself in being all natural and real brewed tea. Their motto is "made from the best stuff on Earth." From that saying, I would gather that they don't use artificial ingredients. The lemon flavor is made with tea leaves, water, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, tea, and natural flavors. There are 100 calories in an 8-ounce serving. There are two servings in one bottle. There is no fat in a serving. There are 10mg of sodium, 2 g of total carbs and 23g of sugar. The bottle has two servings totaling 16 ounces (473 ml).
You can buy the 16-ounce bottles in a case at Target on sale for $6.99. When I see them on sale, I usually buy two cases. King Kullen sells a case for $11.99. If you buy one bottle, it can cost you $1.25. It is worth it to buy a case if you drink them a lot. I take one with me every day for lunch. 12 bottles (16 ounces each) come in a value case. The case comes with pop in handles to carry.
The taste only has a faint hint of lemon. It is not strong at all. That is why I like the Snapple brand over other lemon iced tea brands. It doesn't taste like it is full of sugar either. Not too sweet or sour. It goes down very smoothly. It doesn't leave any after taste either. You won't feel bloated after drinking it. What I like about the iced tea over soda is that you don't feel gassy or need to burp (not to be gross). One bottle is usually enough for lunch and a little extra if you are having desert.
