Sneak Peak Album Review of DJ Hero Original Soundtrack Compilation CD

Rich Jones
I have been a fan of Rock Band and Guitar Hero for some time because I enjoy the unique blend of music on the game. I have never been very good at the game and I often fall behind the beats and end up finishing last in the game because I am too slow. Still though, I love that they make a game that gives you the ability to remember classic songs by great bands like Aerosmith. The beautiful thing about the game is that it exposes gamers to songs that are classic and they would have not otherwise heard the songs on the game. Not only did I find the music good but when it is my job to keep on beat with the tracks I just find it fun and this is the reason why I purchased the DJ Hero game because I knew it would be a lot more fun than the other versions because it included great rap music. Once I had the game I thought the music was great and I could not get enough of listening to and remembering the great sounds on the CD. For this reason, I decided to pre order the DJ Hero Original Soundtrack CD via Amazon and I thought it would be a good idea to listen to the CD via Youtube to see what I would be getting when the CD arrives.

This is the complete soundtrack to the game and I stress the word complete because if there is a track that you enjoy from the game it will be included here. What I love most about this CD is that it includes all of the tracks I love but also tracks that I don't love. I always hated when you buy an incomplete CD because it feels like I am being robbed and I would like to have the songs available to me if I start to like that at another time. This is a 3 CD album and it is packaged with material that includes 88 tracks in total spread over the 3 CDs. The artists featured on this album include Beastie Boys, 50 Cent, David Bowie, Grandmaster Flash, Young MC, Kid Sister, Rihanna, The Killers, The Trammps, Q-Tip, Gwen Steffani, Rick James, Marvin Gaye, Gangstarr, Vanilla Ice, Paula Abdul, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, Jurassic 5, NERD, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Beck, Public Enemy and Masta Ace just to name a few. There is so much great music here that it is hard to decide what I like best. I enjoy the blends and the classic Rap music on this CD because it reminds me of a better time in music. I rate this CD a 4/5 and suggest you by it.
