Sneak Peak Album Review of Glen Washington's "Vibes" CD

The reason why I always pre order music from either Best Buy or Amazon is so that I will receive my CD as soon as it is available to sell to the general public. Also, you always get the best price for the CD and saving money is always good. And last, the record company will sometimes ship the pre orders early so you have a chance to be the first one to hear the CD and if it doesn't come early then at least you saved money. I pre ordered the Glen Washington album titled "Vibes" from Amazon and it was supposed to be released early in 2010 but I got my pre order about a week ago and I wanted to provide a sneak peak album review for this great CD so that others would know what they will be getting if they choose to buy the CD. For those who don't know Reggae has had only a few singers that could be called superstars. Bob Marley was the most popular and then comes his son Ziggy Marley but that is because of name only. When you mention these two you need to mention Glen Washington because he is today what Bob Marley was in his day. He records to same type of music that combines rhythm and melody into a fused smooth piece that is meant to groove to. The listener is free to let go of all their troubles and follow the music. This is a magic that was first created by Bob Marley and today lives on in Glen Washington so if you loved Bob then you should listen to Glen. This is the reason I picked up his CD and I love his smash hit "Fire Burning"

This track is included on this album titled "Vibes" along with 13 others tracks. This album is a love filled piece that simply brings joy to the listener. It is easy listening and the best songs are "Baby", "Little Girl" and "Feel For You". The song "Good Old Days" is a retrospective tale about life and how we always long for moments that have long passed. The themes include sadness and joy along with happiness and love. The album is up beat and makes you feel great. I would rate the CD a 4/5 and it only costs 8.00, if you love Bob and Ziggy Marley then you will love Glen Washington and his album "Vibes".
