Sneak Peak Album Review of Grammy 2010 Nominees Compilation CD

One of the things that I enjoy most about this time of year is the upcoming Grammy awards show. These awards are given to the best music acts to commemorate them on an outstanding year. The awards show usually features the best and most popular musical acts and they usually release a CD attached to the show. The Grammy 2010 Nominees compilation CD is intended to build anticipation for the upcoming awards show. It also is designed to celebrate and honor another year in music. Providing a musical mixture on the CD that compiles the best and most popular songs of the past year does this. This means that if you own only one CD every year then you will need to order this one. It includes some of the best artists and all of the tracks have already been proven hits. I decided to pre order this CD via Amazon but I thought I would listen to the CD via Youtube to see if it was worth the money.

The CD includes 18 tracks and the length of is about 75 minutes from start to finish. What I love about this CD is that every track is a hit song and it is packed with songs. What I don't like is that this CD is essentially only Pop music and this means that all other genres have been left out. The exclusion of all other forms of music means that this isn't a CD that includes the best tracks of the year. With that being said, I did enjoy the tracks on this CD because I believe that if you could put one CD in a bottle for future generations to discover this would be the one. The featured artists include Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Dave Matthews Band, Kings Of Leon, Taylor Swift, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, The Fray, Colbie Caillat and many others. The best tracks on this CD include You Belong To Me, I Run To You, andHometown Glory. These are my favorite tracks on the CD but there are many great songs on this CD. If you are a fan of Pop music then you need to pick up this CD. It is well worth the money and I would rate it 5/5. While I wish other artists were included on this CD I am happy with the content.
