The CD has just 11 tracks, which feels like it should have included more material. However, I am not mad at the low number because we usually see CDs of about 42 minutes in length from Conor and Mystic Valley Band. The tracks that I enjoy most on this CD are Hand Of God, French Kissing and Miracles but there are plenty of great songs here. This is the time of music that will uplift you during a stroll through the park on a lonely day but it also manages to make me sad when I am happy for whatever reason. The music and content is very reflective and emotional, as you would usually find on a Bright Eyes CD. However, this CD is not as depressing as a Bright Eyes album and it feels more progressive and more so like Country music than what we experienced on the Outer South album. If you loved the Conor Oberest or Outer South albums then you will also love this one. If you like Jason and you are looking for some new artists to listen to their try Conor Oberst, Bright Eyes, Mystic Valley Band and Soon as you probably will like their music also. I would rate this 4/5 because it is a great CD.
