Sneak Peak Album Review of Pictures CD by Len Price 3

Rich Jones
What I have always found so unique about music around the world is that certain musical acts become famous in the United States and they eventually become successful in the United Kingdom. Other times acts can originally become famous in the United Kingdom and then cross over to the United States. Sting would be an example of an artistic act that has achieved fame within the United States and the United Kingdom. Len Price 3 is a Pop music band that has achieved a lot of frame within the United Kingdom. They have sold millions of records within the UK and become very successful according to Billboard Charts available via their website at Billboard.com I first heard Len Price 3 when I was visiting a friend in Europe and he played their song The Girl Who Became a Machine and I became a fan of their music right away. What I liked about their music is that it is Pop but it blends in elements of Rock music by using hooks within each track to make the crowd participate in every song. My friend decided that he would pre order their upcoming album titled Pictures as a gift for me to remember my time. I thought it would be a good idea to listen to the CD via Youtube to see how good the CD actually is.

There are 13 tracks on the CD and the length is about 60 minutes in total. The music does feel a bit short on this CD but I suspect that this is because of the fact that they have already released two other CDs in the past. The content of the music is pretty simple and easy to follow. The lyrics are a lot like what people love in bands such as Aerosmith. They are done from the prospective of a male in love. Each song is discussing their relationships and the evolution of those relationships. I like that these songs are basic Pop songs and they are true to form. The best songs on this CD are I Don't Believe You, Nothing Like You, andYou Tell Lies. I find that the artistry displayed within the song Man Who Used to Be is superior to the levels found on the rest of the CD. If you are looking for a unique brand of Pop music or you are interested in this CD then buy it. I would rate it 3/5 because it is short on material. If you like this CD you will enjoy artists like King Khan, Dukes Of Stratosphear, and Levon Helm.
