The Eleventh Victim is the new book by former prosecutor and regular television host, Nancy Grace, which was published in August of 2009 Hyperion Publishers. The Eleventh Victim is Nancy Grace's first novel of fiction that she has written after having written several non fiction pieces that dealt with politics and other news worthy events.

The Eleventh Victim tells the thrilling story about a young woman who is a student of psychology who makes the decision to find out who killed her fiance just weeks before they were to be married. Hailey Dean had on a high due to her upcoming wedding to the love of her life, Will, and had been looking forward to her life with him. She was not expecting the unsuspecting news that came to her about her fiance. Will was dead. Someone had killed poor Will. She wondered who would want him dead? Everyone liked him. She did not understand why this had to happen to her and Will. She wanted to know answers as to why someone would kill Will. It was so unheard of and so senseless.

Hailey also makes the decision that to get through the devastation that she has lived through, she must leave to find a new place to live. She needs to find a place that hold memories of her former life and also will help in aiding her to get over what has happened. She needs to recover from her loss and the only way she can think of is leave everything behind. She needs to start anew and find some solace in her life. So, she makes a decision to head to New York City and become a therapist. Just when things were getting back to normal, she makes a discovery that will have her testing her will and determination. Someone is killing the people that she is trying to help. Somehow, the way that these killings are happening , is the same way that the other victims in one of her previous cases have been killed.

So, Hailey draws on her experience as being a long time former prosecutor and becomes determined to find out why her patients were killed. She makes a discovery that makes her blood run cold. The man that she had prosecuted back in Georgia has been let go on appeal and is apparently killing again. Hailey has to figure out what she has to do know to get the one responsible for these killings and also help Will get the justice that he so deserves.
