Three Rivers is the new CBS TV show that will debut October 4 for the 2009-2010 TV season. Three Rivers is one of several new Medical Dramas that will be premiering this season but this is much more different that all the ones that will be premiering. This medical drama takes a look inside the medical side of organ donation and the emotional drama that plays out. It also tells the story about the ones who are on the receiving end of the organ donation and the doctors who operate in order to save those lives. It also takes more than what goes on behind the scenes to see that everything goes the way that it should.

This show seems to have more than any other show has and the fact that this show has a actor that has shown himself to be versatile. This actor starred in a popular TV show a few years back and has shown that he can do just about anything. This actor starred in "Moonlight" and he played a character that was vampire. His name was Alex O'Loughlin and he is one of the few actors who has gotten another chance to prove himself. The following is a list of the actors who will be starring in this new show and the characters that they will be playing.

Alex O'Loughlin plays the character of Doctor Andy Yablonski - Andy is a surgeon who is highly skilled and works too much. He is also the lead doctor in the organ transplant program. He is considered good natured, a great personality, and has a wit that is also considered to be sarcastic. All this makes him one of the more popular doctors in the hospital with other hospital personnel and also with the patients.

Katherine Moennig plays the character of Doctor Miranda Foster - A co-worker of Doctor Yablonksi and one who has a nasty temper that burns hot and a bit of a rebelliousness about her. She has made her life's work to strive for the same reputation that her father who has passed on. She wants what he had and she has the way about her to get it.

Daniel Henney plays the character of Doctor David Lee - Doctor Lee, a resident, is the kind of man that women go for and he takes advantage of that. He is considered a womanizer and has left a lot of hearts broken in the process. He has did a lot in his life and his main goal is to be the best doctor that he can.

Christopher J. Hanke plays the character of Ryan Abbott - Ryan is a transplant coordinator who is not too experienced in the medical world. He may be inexperienced but he is able to arrange what goes on behind the scenes in order to get the organs placed with the patients that need it. He sees that the organs are sent carefully onto the next patients that need them.

Julia Ormond plays the character of Doctor Sophia Jordon - Doctor Jordon is head of surgery who is very dedicated and but is not a patient person. She has sacrificed a lot to become who and what she is. She will let people know how she feels and will make no bones about it.

Justina Machado plays the character of Pam Acosta - Pam is Doctor Yablonski's operating assistant who takes no prisoners and will do what she has to to keep others in their place. She is also the Doctor's good friend.

This show has promise and if it makes it, with all the other good shows that are on opposite it, then it has the potential of becoming a hit. I am intrigued by the premise and the plot of the show, so I am hoping this show will make it.
