Sneak Peek Album Review of Who I Am by Nick Jonas

Rich Jones
My little sister has been a fan of the Jones Brothers for almost four years and I recently took her to attend their concert in New York. She loved the concert and she told me that she has never seen something so great in her life. This is probably her favorite group that she has ever seen lived and after seeing Nick Jones on American Idol she asked me to buy her the CD. After attending their concert a few months ago I did enjoy some of their music such as their song Fly With Me. Ever since I heard that song I would consider myself a fan because I love that their music is unique. What makes them different from someone like Nsync or Backstreet Boys is that there is actually some talent in this case. I love that they mix in elements such as a piano and that they have the ability to play these instruments live. Nick Jones is the standout talent much like Justin Timberlake and this is the reason I decided to reserve his upcoming album titled Who I Am via Amazon.

The CD includes 10 tracks 40 minutes from start to finish, this isn't very long but being that he is the lead member of the Jones Brothers it is about what I expected. This is the first solo release for Nick Jones so I did not expect much from the CD. However, this CD is a lot better than I expected in terms of lyrics because there are a lot of songs that seem to be about true love. I believe they are about Miley Cyrus but this is just an opinion. The best tracks on the CD are Rose Garden, Last Time Around, and Vesper's Goodbye but there is plenty to listen to here. I believe that at least half of this album is intended for the radio and it will lead to more success for Nick Jones. The lyrics are all about relationships so I would suggest this CD for any female or male that is in a relationship. If you like this CD you will also enjoy music by Mitchel Musso, Emily Osment, and Justin Bieber. I would rate this CD 4/5 because it has a lot of replay value and it can fit into the library of any music lover regardless of age. It is well worth the $10 cost of the CD.
