This is a sneak peek review of the children's animated DVD Timmy Time: Go Kart Timmy. This product comes from Lionsgate and HiT Entertainment and is due for release on November 22. I was provided a copy of this product for review, but was under no obligation to recommend it. My observations are my own.

Synopsis and Review of the Children's Animated DVD Timmy Time: Go Kart Timmy

Five episodes make up this video mostly centered on transportation themes. The program is a spin-off from the Shaun the Sheep series. The youngest member of that cast interacts with his fellow preschoolers and learns how to get along with them and do what he's instructed to do by teachers. In "Go Kart Timmy," the lamb gets so impatient to try out the go-kart, he schemes to move up in turn and creates even more havoc once he gets possession of it. In "Timmy on Wheels," the preschooler won't help Ruffy (a puppy) learn how to ride the tricycle, but the star gets the same treatment when he struggles with the playground scooter. In "Timmy Wants to Win," the lamb really wants to win one of the playground competitions, but he has nothing but troubles in his quest for a large sunflower prize.

The fourth episode in this children's animated DVD sees Timmy show off his soccer skills to his classmates, but he's less enthusiastic about teaching Otus (a little owl) how to play in "Timmy Plays Ball." Finally, in "Timmy's Train," the students have fun making trains in art class, but when they decide to act like trains outside, the lamb and Mittens (a kitten) drive their peers crazy trying to be the one who leads the others as the pretend engine. The bonus features includes a music video by the cast and a Shaun the Sheep episode called "Big Top Timmy," where the sheep attempt to rescue the little one from a circus high wire after he escapes the farm to go exploring the big top.

This Children's Animated DVD Provides Chuckles and Good Moral Lessons

Once again, little kids will have a good time viewing the animal preschoolers as they continue to learn more about life and how to be friends with each other. The lessons taught include sportsmanship, teamwork, and patience. The stories move fast, are engaging, and the quality animation features bright and cheery surroundings, so I recommend this video.

This DVD runs about 45 minutes in length. The video has a Suggested Retail Price of $14.98 and can be heard in English. Timmy Time: Go Kart Timmy will be available at retail outlets like Amazon.com on November 22. For more information about this character, go to this website.
