Sneak Peek Review of the Children's Fire Safety DVD Fireman Sam: Ready for Action
Due to Be Released December 28
Synopsis and Review of the Children's Fire Safety DVD Fireman Sam: Ready for Action
Five episodes of the Welsh fire and rescue brigade are featured in this video, where the friendly and informative firefighter Sam tries to help his fellow townspeople of Pontypandy keep safe. In the first episode, "Going Out with a Bang", a fireworks party thrown by Mandy's father gets out of hand because the tips in a fire safety brochure aren't heeded. In "Sticky Situation", the town brat, Norman Price, is careless with his magnifying glass, which starts a fire, and his unwise use of a "Super Glue-like" product traps him in his room. While looking for mussels with his friends James and Sarah, Norman Price gets his foot stuck between two rocks in the sea, and must be rescued by Fireman Sam's crew on "Best Foot Forward." In "Hot Air", the bus driver Trevor takes the kids on a bird watching trip, but he won't listen to anyone's advice, which leads to an engine fire in the hills. The final episode in this children's fire safety DVD Fireman Sam: Ready for Action is called "Alarm on the Beach", which sees one of the twins James get his legs caught under a crate at the beach and needing assistance.
The bonus episode contains an airing from Timmy Time, called "Timmy's Plane", where the little lamb from Shaun the Sheep has trouble in art class.
I recommend this video strongly because through this product, children will get some good fire safety reinforcement tips on subjects like fireworks and magnifying glasses via animation full of firefighters, fire engines, and blazing UK sirens. The running time for this children's fire safety DVD is about 46 minutes and can be heard in both English and French languages. Fireman Sam: Ready for Action is due for release to retail outlets like Amazon.com on December 28 and its Suggested Retail Price is $9.98. I was provided a review copy of this children's fire safety DVD by Lionsgate and HiT Entertainment, but was under no obligation to recommend it. My observations are my own.
