Snickers with Caffine?

Snickers with caffeine??? Yes, I just saw this on TV this morning. Snickers, the candy bar, is now being offered with caffeine in the candy bar. Apparently there are people out there in the 18-24 age group that can't get enough sugar or caffeine into their diets. What's funny is that just this past week there are numerous news reports on how pregnant women and hyper people need to cut down on caffeine to near nothing. And on the back of the Snickers label, is a warning; not to be consumed by kids, pregnant women, or caffeine sensitive people. You just wiped out half of Metro New York City, LA/San Fran, Los Vegas, and all of Florida! So if you put this in the candy isle, well gee, what does gonna happen there? Kid sees candy bar, mommy gives in and lets kid have it. Mommy spends rest of the day with a hyper kid with a sugar crash.

Has anyone out there ever experienced a "Sugar/Caffeine Crash"? Bang you head against a cement block for ten minutes and then try to walk. That's the effect of a sugar and caffeine crash. I've had one of these crashes once or twice when I wasn't paying attention to what I eat and drink. Take two cups of French Vanilla coffee, and a cheese Danish from the bakery, consume these within 20 minutes and then try to think. Ouch is a good word to use here.

And there is also Jolt Energy Gum too it seems. Caffeine gum; same theory, but in chewing gum. Yeah, okay, let's not only add on the calories, and the caffeine intake; let's take out a few teeth from gum decay while we're at this.

Hey! New brilliant marketing idea! Take a simple caffeine pill (preferably the size of a horse pill), coat it in sugar, and then cover with flavor crystals! We'll call it "Peppy Pills" or some stupid name like that.

Wait I got a better idea guys......eat a freaking banana. Less calories, no fat, and it only takes a few extra minutes to wake up. Oh, and no crashing headaches.
