Snooki Jersey Shore Halloween Costume DIY

Whether or not you watch MTV's Jersey Shore, chances are you've heard of the show's most famous star-Snooki. And because she's become a household name, and has a signature style, everyone at your Halloween party will recognize your Snooki Halloween costume. You can dress as Snooki for Halloween and make a Snooki Halloween costume using items you have in your own closet, or find these items cheaply at discount stores. Even if you don't want to be Snooki from the Jersey Shore TV show, you can use these ideas to make a more generic "Guidette" costume.

Hairstyle for your DIY Snooki Halloween Costume
Snooki's poufy hair is her signature hairstyle. If you already have long black or dark brown hair, tease the back part of your hair. To do this, use a fine-tooth comb at the roots and spray LOTS of hairspray to poof it up. In the front of your hair, part it to the side. If you have bangs, side-sweep them. Leave some of the front part of your hair down so that it frames your face. Tie half of the back of your hair back and hold in place with a barrette. You should have a giant bump on the back of your head. The part of your hair that's hanging down should be left straight. You may want to use some shine gel to make your hair look slick like hers does.

If you don't have long dark hair, you'll have to buy a wig for your Snooki Halloween costume. Make sure it's long enough to mimic her style.

Wear a short, tight dress, of course! The dress should be several inches above the knee, have spaghetti straps and show a lot of cleavage.

Shoes for your Snooki Halloween Costume
High heeled shoes are a must. Or, you can substitute black boots that go up to your knees.

Other items for your DIY Snooki Halloween Costume
You may want to use self-tanner or sign up for a few sessions at a tanning salon if your skin is pale. Snooki has a darker complexion and always looks tan. Big earrings and lots of eye makeup will also help complete the costume.

Also consider giving yourself a bigger chest-Snooki likes to show it off, so you may want to give yourself more cleavage!

For most ladies, dressing as Snooki for Halloween is a cheap costume idea, since most of the items can be found inside your closet. The only item you might need to purchase is the wig! Good luck and happy Halloween!
