Snow in All 50 States Even Show in Hawaii and Dallas Snow Records?

Stacey Doyle
Does snow in all 50 states mean we even had snow in Hawaii and a Dallas snow record? Is this possible? Seems there could be snow in all 50 states if the winter storm passing through on Thursday and Friday leaves the Deep South snow anticipated. Everyone here at Gather was talking about snow all over the nation. It is true there is a Dallas snow record but what about snow in Hawaii?

USA Today reports Patrick March of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Severe Snow Laboratory, states a winter storm might mean snow in all 50 states. Marsh is currently trying to get together pics of snow in all 50 states on the ground. Marsh speculates whether snow in all 50 states ever happened before.

The Dallas snow record reported by the Houston Chronicle was 12.5 inches within just 24 hours in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The previous Dallas snow record was 12.1 inches in 1962. The 2010 Dallas snowfall closed dozens of local schools.

Is there really snow in Hawaii? At this point, it seems to be only a rumor but with this winter storm it seems anything is possible. Further, the mountains in Hawaii are topped with snow because of the altitude.

Yes, there are patches of snow on the summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii, at around 14,000ft! Some of the astronomers should be sending in pictures if they haven't already.
