Snowflake Smiles

As Long as Someone Listens

Dan Reveal
I had just misplaced your autograph,
when you brought new life into the world.
You can kiss the real winner in the place of your choosing,
'cause you've always been the nicest girl.

Do you still have my snowflake smiles,
or did they all melt away?
The things you feel are just part of who you are,
as long as someone listens to what you have to say.

And didn't we steal our gifts from tragic plays,
'though your father expected you home by ten?
It's okay to love just because people are people,
especially the girl I knew back then.

Especially the girl I knew back then.

Do you still have my snowflake smiles,
or did they all melt away?
The things you feel are just part of who you are,
as long as someone listens to what you have to say.

As long as someone listens to what you have to say.

Excellent one. Soon we'll have real snow, but I won't be smiling when that happens!
