Snowflakes for Heaven's Sake: A Christmas Poem

Bo Katzakian
Snow flakes fall,

Float, flutter and glitter.

Dance,

On red velvet pants,

And a matching sweater.

High above,

In a starlit sky,

Do rosy cheeks

And nine reindeer fly.

Far below,

And fast asleep,

Nest Christmas dreams,

And beliefs of Him,

Infinitely deep.

Clattering hooves,

And a crinkled scroll,

Kris Kringle departs,

From the North Pole.

But,

None of this,

Can over shine,

Why we all,

Celebrate this time.

It's His birthday,

Put the presents aside.

And be with the ones

Who you love,

Who love you,

And keep you warm inside.

Merry Christmas
