So Ban War Already. Refuse to Fight. That is Where the Real Courage Is

Time for a Genocidal World to Fess Up and Fly Right

Wars and casualties of the 20th Century
: "Wars and Genocides of the 20th Century by Piero Scaruffi 160 million people died in wars during the 20th century (See also 1900: A century of genocides) TM, Copyright 2009 Piero Scaruffi All rights reserved."

Since Bob Dylan asked how many wars would we have to endure before they are forever banned in the early 1960s, we have added to the list noted above.

Wars and genocides. We live in a genocidal world, active genocide in places like Eastern Congo, passive universally.

We routinely accept numbers from UNICEF that show the annual cost in lives of rampant neglect that we could solve with just a small portion of our military budgets.

We may claim God on our side but it is we who make war.

It is we who can and must ban war.

Just as we ban incest. War should be a taboo.

I think we are getting there.

Post traumatic stress syndrome leading to suicide is most likely indicative of rampant Stockholm syndrome.

Why?

Because we are too mingled to be killing each other and thinking of the ones we kill as an enemies.

The emperor's clothes are coming off with the aid of cyberspace.

So ban war already. Refuse to fight. That is where the real courage is.

Banning wars is a nice concept, but unfortunately man is a warring creature. I think the days of major wars between countries are over, at least I hope so, but the big battle now is either fighting to prevent things like genocide, and most importantly fighting terrorism. A war against another country can be won or lost, but a war against monsters who enjoy war and killing innocent people, how do you stop that?
