...So The Other Day

RipDiction
I was looking around at the old and the new. Cartoons and movie scenes just to name two.
Remembering dinner atop the stove. Smell coming in, to the theater we drove.
Always thought it dangerous in truth. To plop a baby up on the roof.

The halls were shrouded in the haze of horror. They skittered by, once with Adora
Samantha twinkled away ghost went. A snack and a giggle my Saturday spent.
The special appearance of the live we knew. Bewitching and hungry as we all knew too.
Monsters were not so scary and magic could be true. TV was not the only thing to do.

Out with the old and in with the new, ninja's and Eddie's just to name two.
Watching a sponge and nautical non-sense laughing along with my youngest nephew.
Lava and water delicately mixed, Mr. Electric over-powered and needing fixed.
Shrek saved the princess with donkey and a few dragon tricks.
The Devilish Lord Farguhar finally gets nixed.

So how many shows or movies did I list, many that I surely could not miss.
From Wide World of Sports to Scooby-Doo I loved so many, here I name two.
TV and memory seem to go hand in hand.
Reminding of a time, a different era always seeming so grand.
In comparison to today the world of yesterday.
Seems so long ago, childhood, cartoons, and the innocence of play.

I grew up on TV in the 50's. Every generation has its own TV special memories....glad you enjoy yours!
