For the first time in three weeks, none of the competitors on SYTYCD were injured during practice. At the end of the program, though, host Cat Deeley announced that Lauren Froderman, the only female dancer left on the show, was being attended by medic.

Lauren's performances were stellar; she paired up with All-Star Allison and danced to the 1994 Broadway version of "Who's Got the Pain?" by Damn Yankees. Although male dancers have performed together on SYTYCD, it was the first time in the history of the show that two women danced together.

"I think of you as a star already," said Judge Adam Shankman. His counterpart, Mia Michaels agreed and said Lauren had forged ahead of the others.

Two dancers will be eliminated during the July 29th episode, which will leave four to vie for top spot. Kent Boyd has a pretty good chance of winning. He teamed up with Jose Ruiz for a 1940s era number in which the two portrayed construction workers ogling a woman. "Kent, I think you've found your home," Michaels said.

However, Billy Bell made an excellent comeback, having recovered from last week's knee injury. Judge and Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe said he was glad Billy had decided not to dance last week, because everyone would have missed out on his performance this week. Michaels agreed. "That was sheer perfection. You are respected as an up and coming artist in the profession," she said.

Billy and Robert Roldan ended the show with a fine Bollywood performance. "Billy, this has been a big night for you," said Shankman.

Growth and maturity apparently mean a lot on SYTYCD. Lythgoe told both Kent and Robert they had matured and went from dancing like boys to dancing like men. "You're becoming even better than I thought you would be," he told Robert.

Guest judge and champion ballroom dancer Toni Redpath would have liked to be the woman in Robert's arms during his contemporary routine with All-Star Kathryn. "I ask myself would I like to be the woman dancing with you. The answer is yes," she said.

Things are not looking too good for Ade'Chike Torbert and Jose. Lythgoe told Jose, who danced with All-Star Comfort to Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness" that he was a little "flappy" during the performance and that his time on the show could be coming to an end.

Redpath disagreed. "You could have given me your best line and I would have bought it," she said. In turn, Michaels and Shankman disagreed with Redpath, saying Jose made the dance more "fun" than was intended.

Michaels said she would like for Ade'Chike', who performed bare-chested, to demonstrate more finesse and style to counteract his strength He danced to Dizzy Gillepsie's "Manteca" with All-Star Courtney. Lythgoe also saw the abundance of strength. "You threw the energy in, you've got to bring some more, just enjoy dancing," he said.

Redpath, though, summed it up. "Technically, everybody is good at this point," she said, adding that it would come down to a matter of personal preference, such as choosing between a pizza and a cheeseburger.

Of course, there is the unpredictability factor. Tune in Thursday, July 29th to see which two dancers will say sayonara.
