'So You Think You Can Dance' July 29, 2010: Bye-Bye Billy Bell and Jose Ruiz; Lauren Froderman Safe

Bye-bye, Billy Bell and Jose Ruiz. These two dancers were eliminated from the SYTYCD lineup during the July 29^th episode. This means Lauren Froderman, who was in the bottom three with Billy and Jose, is safe for another week.

Lauren Froderman in Bottom Three!??!

This marked the first time Lauren was in the bottom three dancer club, although Billy and Jose had been there before. At the end of the July 28^th show, Lauren was receiving medical attention, but was given the go ahead to dance Thursday.

Billy, Jose and Lauren each danced solo, with Jose performing to "Hot Music" by Soho. Billy danced to "Szerencsétlen" by Venetian Snares. Lauren finished up with Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get it On."

Tough Decision To Eliminate Dancers on SYTYCD

"This was probably the toughest decision we've had to make this season," said Executive Producer and Judge Nigel Lythgoe. The judges were unanimous in their decision to send Billy and Jose home and to keep Lauren on.

The fact that Lauren was in the bottom three was surprising, given her excellent performances throughout the season. Lythgoe alluded to the possibility that many female viewers voted for the guys instead of a female dancer.

The judges won't have to make any more decisions for the season-whoever wins 'So You Think You Can Dance' will be carried there by the viewers who vote.
