For the third week in a row, one of the 'So You Think You Can Dance' contestants was injured and couldn't dance. Billy Bell sat on the sidelines with an injured knee, after his doctor left the final decision on whether to dance up to him.

Billy knows his body better than anyone, said judge and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe. This automatically puts Billy in the bottom three; if he can't dance Thursday night he will be eliminated.

Choreographer and Director Kenny Ortega Judges

The July 21st show marked the 150th episode of SYTYCD; choreographer and director Kenny Ortega, joined Lythgoe, Mia Michaels and Adam Shankman as a judge. Instead of being first to critique the dancers as is the norm, Lythgoe went last; Shankman, who is usually last, was first, followed by Michaels and Ortega.

Kent Boyd: The Guy to Beat?

Kent Boyd did a jazz number with all-star Kathryn that paid off big time. "Kent, I think you're the guy to beat," said Ortega, who directed "High School Musical," and choreographed dance sequences in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off ". Shankman told Kent he 'kicked ass," although Michaels said Kent's face was a little too animated during the performance, with which Lythgoe disagreed.

Lauren Froderman is Bad

There was some question as to whether Lauren Froderman could be "bad," but she proved she could during a routine with all-star Twitch. "She rises to every occasion," said Lythgoe. After Lauren danced the samba with Robert Roldan, Michaels told her she needed to be a little sharper and Lythgoe agreed, although he was overall pleased with her performance. This was the first time in quite a while that Lauren received less than glowing critiques from the judges.

Ade'Chike' Torbert danced an impressive hip-hop routine with all-star Comfort. I thought I was watching a movie, not a dance," said Shankman. Lythgoe was also happy with the performance. "You just showed America what I'm talking about when I talk about honesty in dance," he said.

Ade'Chike' and Jose Dance: Ole!

Jose Ruiz got a little technical advice after his routine with all-star Allison. Michaels didn't see much technical growth, and Lythgoe advised him to point his toes and straighten his legs. Later, Jose and Ade'Chike' danced shirtless and with capes and were rewarded with "valiant effort" from most of the judges, although Michaels said it was "aesthetically gorgeous" to watch.

Tune in July 22 to see who will be in the bottom three with Billy Bell-and if Billy Bell will dance.
