'So You Think You Can Dance': No Dancer Sent Home, Billy Bell, Robert Roldan, Jose Ruiz Safe

Unprecedented Move on SYTYCD

In an unprecedented move, the judges of SYTYCD eliminated no one on the Thursday, July 22 episode. Instead, two dancers will go home next week. Billy Bell, Robert Roldan and Jose Ruiz were in the bottom three; Billy was there because he made the decision not to dance this week after injuring himself. Robert and Jose received the lowest number of votes from viewers.

All three should practice extra hard this week. Executive producer and Judge Nigel Lythgoe told Robert that a couple of the judges didn't think he was growing as a dancer, and while Jose had grown in his own specialty of breakdancing, he hadn't grown in other areas.

Lauren Froderman, Kent Clark and Ade'Chike' Torbert Safe

Lauren Froderman, Kent Clark and Ade'Chike' were safe this week. It came as no surprise that Lauren and Kent were safe, but Ade'Chike' has been in the bottom three before. Apparently, he has improved since the beginning of the season.

Robert and Jose performed solo, with Robert dancing to Ron Pope's "Fireflies" and Jose dancing to "It's Just Begun" by The Jimmy Castor Band. In addition to Lythoge, Mia Michaels, Kenny Ortega and Adam Shankman were judges.
