'So You Think You Can Dance' Says Goodbye to Cristina Santana During June 24, 2010 Episode

Robert Roldan, Don't You Go Anywhere!

Not Cristina!

Cristina Santana was shown the door during the June 24, 2010 episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance,' much to my dismay. I thought Cristina had improved immensely and had continued to 'dance for her life," as judge Nigel Lythgoe described her solo performance just a week ago.

So now Robert Roldan and Melinda Sullivan are safe for another week, but the pressure is on, especially for Sullivan who marks her second week in the bottom three dancer/vote getter club. To heap on even more pressure, Lythgoe told Melinda the decision to keep her on was not unanimous. He wanted to send her home, but the wishes of judges Mia Michaels and Adam Shankman prevailed.

When it comes to Robert Roldan, well, darn straight he's not going anywhere, not even in those plaid shorts he was wearing. So Michaels thought he looked stressed out during a recent performance? Well, he probably was but that alone shouldn't get him the boot, not when you concentrate on his dancing.

But receiving accolades one week doesn't mean dancers will get the same treatment the next. Indeed, they have to learn to let comments slide off their backs just as smoothly as those all-star dancers slide up or down their legs during the dance routines.
