Jeanine Mason has proved herself to be a hard working, talented and beautiful dancer. Her smile has captured the hearts of millions. With every dance style she has encountered she has captured their nuances in stunning detail. Even when she and her partners have stumbled, she has done so without apology. That has only helped her get better. As Nigel Lythgoe said, she has peaked at the right time. And, because of her, girls everywhere are once again dreaming of dancing. You could hear it in their applause. Jeanine proves that if you love dance, with perseverance you can do it well. Viewers could see it in her smile.
Jeanine is real. She is authentic. There was no denying that after thunderous applause filled the Hollywood theatre. It was Jeanine's night. The standing ovations proved it. Unbelievable it became a night where all her effort, talent and charisma came together. She engaged the crowd and won over millions of viewers in a night to remember. The judges too were in awe and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her performances. Mary Murphy's vocal chords were also set on fire in burst of shouts and cheers out of respect for all that Jeanine accomplished.
Now all that is left is the tallying of votes. Brandon, Kayla, and Evan all have their fans. So, in no way is my predicted outcome guaranteed. To be honest, Kayla and Brandon have also risen to the occasion on more than one occasion to make this vote quite difficult. But, Jeanine has set herself apart. Her ability to move an audience and prove that perfection isn't always as important to lovers of dance as "connection". Her ability to connect with her audience sets her apart from her competition. The other three may be stronger, more graceful and even better matter's of their own style than she is, but none have taken a hold of this opportunity and run with it like Jeanine. She has tackled each style with determination and has made each of her partners better.
Tonight we will find out if others see her as I do. My guess is that I will be vindicated in my choice. Jeanine Mason will be the next winner of this season of 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Count on it! Last night anyone undecided was surely swayed in her direction. For those of us who love dance, she is what makes this competition so remarkable. It is because of dancers like her that fans watch this show each and every week. Good luck Jeanine, we are pulling for you.
