So You Think Gerard the Devil Committed Suicide?

Patrick Bernauw
Before you read the possible solution to the Murder Mystery of the Devil's Castle... maybe you want to check the facts for the very last time?... Or maybe you have not played the game yet? The whole story is here ! And maybe you can listen to some Gerard the Devil songs first? Follow the links and listen to "Isabelle Dances", "Les Dunes/The Ballad of the Mermaid and the Monk" or "May Colven".

Okay, don't say we have not warned you!... Here is Mr. Gilbert Leduc speaking:

My Dear,

How could you know what really happened?

Looking at the photographs, you could see the resemblance between Gerard and the so-called Luke Bogaert. And then there was of course the voice of Luke Bogaert and the voice of Gerard the Devil on the recordings you heard.... Didn't you hear they share the same voice?

What happened? Gerard obviously made a deal with Luke Bogaert and took his place. Gerard wanted to take revenge on Lisa who dumped him in Paris... and on me, because I created the singing serial killer hype.

Indeed, after the show at the Devil's Castle, Lisa and Gerard left and went into hiding, first in The White Lion and later on in Paris. When she had spent all his money on drugs, she dumped him.... And now she wants to start all over again with her life and make some money out of her story... and of the old songs of Gerard the Devil....

No, Gerard the Devil did not commit suicide... You were terribly wrong, indeed! He simply stepped out of the public life he hated and of his relationship with Isabelle, who was getting really possessive. When he saw Lisa, he thought to himself: "What a wonderful world!" - And he was gone....

But what he did not know, was that Lisa would be the first woman who dared to dump him...... How could she!... So, Gerard the Devil wanted revenge. And when he heard that I was organising detective teambuilding games, he decided to use these events to strike back.

Nobody killed Gerard the Devil...... He still lives!... And the stories that Isabel, Bonduelle or the fake Luke Bogaert told you, were lies. Nothing but lies and fantasy.

Sincerely,

Gilbert Leduc
