Soap Craft for Kids to Make for Mother's Day

Mother's day isn't too far off and kids like to make crafts to give to their mom for Mother's Day. Here is an idea that you could use for a school class or a Sunday school class to make for their moms for a Mother's Day gift. It is also cheap so it wouldn't cost much to make these gifts for moms. Here is how kids can make soap crafts for their moms.

ITEMS THE KIDS WILL NEED:

First the kids will need a bar of soap for thier mom. You can find good smelling soaps at the dollar store. You can even find the Caress exotic scents at some dollar stores, so get a very good smelling soap for mom, don't give her something that stinks.

Next, the kids will need some solid colored wrapping paper, get pretty spring colors for the kids to use like lime green, pink, and bright blue. Then get some small flowers, lace, buttons, and any other small items that the kids can glue onto the paper to decorate it. Get some tape and some glue also.

LET THE KIDS DECORATE:

This will be an easy craft for kids to make for their mom, plus they can get creative and use their imagination with it. First, have them cut the wrapping paper of their choice into a piece that is big enough to wrap their bar of soap. They should wrap it in the same manner as you would wrap a box for Christmas and use a small piece to tape to hold it together in the back. Next, they can start decorating the wraped soap by adding lace or buttons or any other small decorative items that you have for them to use.

Kids will love making this craft for thier mom for Mother's Day and moms will love receiving it!
