The soothing sounds of dialogue
Commercials,even Crazy Eddy
Surround them with beams of warmth

As familiar faces from the soaps
Appear with a regularity
That no family can match.
A balm for the lonely, the dying
Electronic reminders of life
As long as there is sound
They're still here,
Among the living.
