So-Called Abstinence

Stephanie Alford
If only my legs
Could stretch as wide
As my imagination
I often wonder
I feel my whole body
Cradled by the movement
Of your mouth
When you and I met
You claimed to be celibate
My, how quickly that changed
The moment my tongue
Touched yours
Since that day
We sleep forever
Entwined in each other's embrace
Making each other's body
The other's new habitation

I've returned from my little emotional sabbatical. Much better now.  View profile
